Kyoto: Japan's Old Capitol

After a proper morning of rest and recovery proceeding the previous night's shenanigans, we opt for some proper exploration of the city.
Luckily, our accommodations also include two bicycles.
Our first stop: COFFEE
However, we arrive at our proposed destination, but it's not quite open yet...
So we visit a cute little store with inks and calligraphy accessories.

At noon, we finally encounter espresso bliss.... YUM

We depart, caffeinated and happy. Ready for more adventure and haphazard exploration.

We stop by a promising establishment for lunch.

Totally worth it.

After our bountiful meal of Wagyuu beef, we head across the river to a very old and famous district of Kyoto, the Gion.

Not an uncommon sight

We stumble upon a beautiful park strew with various shrines.

We run into a Tsugaru Shamisen player!

I rushed the ending on this to post the rest of the pictures. I'll do my best to add some captions later. Thank you for looking!
